What we collect and why
If you request a quote or consultation, we collect the contact details, business context, service interests and project information you provide. A consultation request may also include your preferred date, time and time zone. We use this information to respond, clarify your needs, prepare a scope and arrange the next steps.
Providing information is voluntary. Required fields supply the details needed to process your request. Without them we may be unable to respond or assess the enquiry. Please do not include identity documents, payment card details, health information or confidential client material.
Technical information
Our hosting provider processes technical request information to deliver and protect the website. The enquiry service derives a short-lived identifier from your IP address to limit repeated submissions. The enquiry record does not include your raw IP address.
Who may receive it
Authorised people handling enquiries at Billi Yun may access your information. Relevant details may be shared with a specialist when needed to scope or deliver a project, subject to appropriate confidentiality arrangements. Service providers process information to operate the website and our communications.
The website uses Cloudflare Pages and D1 for hosting and enquiry storage, and our business email uses Google Workspace. Providers may process information outside South Africa. Their locations, contractual safeguards and final account configuration must be reviewed before launch.
Retention and security
Enquiry records should be kept only while needed to assess and follow up an enquiry, deliver an engagement or meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Access should be restricted to authorised users. The retention schedule and deletion process are subject to business review before launch.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion where applicable, or object to processing. Contact us using the details above; we may need to verify your identity proportionately before acting. Applicable legal requirements may affect what we can delete or disclose.
You may also raise a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator. The official contact and complaint channels are available at inforegulator.org.za.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not include analytics tags, advertising pixels or marketing cookies. The custom site code does not use browser local storage or set cookies. Hosting or preview-access services may use essential security cookies depending on the final configuration. That configuration will be checked before launch and this notice updated if necessary.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Any future marketing or analytics tools require a separate implementation and an updated notice.
